Yeast infection symptoms A crotch rot could be one of the worst nightmares that any patient could have. Although it is not fatal, most do not even bother to go to their doctors because of sheer embarrassment. Yeast infection on your most private area could be really awkward to present to a physician but it is always best to get a consult when you are down with this predicament. Primarily, it is important to ask a doctor about the condition because you might already be out there buying some yeast treatments when, in fact, you do not have a yeast infection. Sure, there are signs that you have yeast infection but these symptoms could also point to many other forms of illnesses that are not related to a vaginal infection. If you experience any of these, it is probable that you are already infected: • Intense itching or burning feeling on the vulva or around the vaginal area. The itching could be tolerable at first but it could get really worse and before you know it, you could hardly walk let alone ride to your doctor to ask what is wrong with you. • Your discharges smell like beer or bread, hence, it smells a lot like yeast (but do not interchange this with the yeast that is being used to make the real bread as it is a totally different species). These are the most common symptoms of yeast infection. Other than this, do not get the idea that other signs such as missing your period are indicative of an infection. |
