Gall Bladder Symptoms Located near the liver, the gallbladder is a pear-shaped organ that stores and releases bile. This bile is the substance that helps our body process and digests fats. While the gall bladder may be small, there are still quite a few problems associated with it. These include colic, galls stones and inflammation of the gall bladder. When it comes to the gall bladder, gallstones are the most prominent problem. These gallstones are not easily recognized. Usually, people carry on without knowing the presence of these gallstones. It is also common for people with gall bladder problems to feel nauseous and uneasy. Vomiting and release of gas are also common symptoms. If the problem is more serious, you may experience intense pain that will prevent you to bend over. Some will experience severe pain in the upper abdomen that last from 30 minutes to hours. Others will notice pain in the shoulders especially on the right side. Gall bladder symptoms often include pain so it is best that you understand your condition. Once you observe the symptoms, you have to talk to your physician and ask him about treatment options. However, if you truly want to alleviate these symptoms, the best thing to do is to switch to a much healthier diet. If you lessen your intake of fat, your body will need less bile for digestion. This can give your gall bladder a much needed break. So, in your diet, include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, include more fiber in your diet to aid excretion and drink more water as well. Doing this will keep your body hydrated and at the same time will help your body digest the food better. Exercise can also speed up the way your body process fat. |
